FREE INDIE GRANTS SCREENING AT 2018 INDIE GRITS FILM FESTIVAL IN COLUMBIA

Columbia’s Indie Grits Film Festival, one of the Southeast’s premiere independent film events, will host a special screening of the 2017 Indie Grants short films at high noon on April 14th, 2018.

The screening is free. No tickets are needed and the program is open to public.

The Indie Grants produce and fund short films by indigenous South Carolina filmmakers. Showing off South Carolina stories and talent to the world. (Recent shorts have screened at Sundance, Slamdance, Austin, Palm Springs, Nashville, and many more.)  The 2018 submissions cycle open soon, with submissions due on June 29. Indie Grants staff will be on hand at the screening to discussing the application and funding process. The filmmakers screening will also be there for Q&A.

In this Southern Gothic road tale, a guilt riddled nomad travels the haunted highways seeking forgiveness. But dark urges are at play when truck stop prostitutes are found murdered.
