The 2018/2019 YOUNG FILMMAKERS PROJECT TOP TEN FINALISTS ANNOUNCED!
Screening at the Nickelodeon Theater in Columbia on Saturday, May 11

Each year Indie Grants, the South Carolina Film Commission and Trident Technical College holds a statewide filmmaking competition for high school students, the SOUTH CAROLINA YOUNG FILMMAKERS PROJECT. These young filmmakers are challenged to tell a compelling story in two-minutes or less, with technical and creative parameters built into the assignment.

After a record number of entries and an exhaustive judging process, the Top Ten finalists for 2018/2019 have been determined! Their short film entries will screen at a special event at the Nickelodeon Theater in Columbia, SC, on May 11 at 1pm.  The screening is free and open to the public, though on-line ticketing is recommended.  GET TICKETS HERE.

The First, Second and Third Place winners will be announced during the screening.  All of the Top Ten filmmakers will be on hand for Q&A immediately following the program.
